Línea Pura is an architecture studio whose work sells on its imagery. Their previous site compressed the projects until they looked flat and loaded slowly. They needed a restrained portfolio where the photography led and the navigation got out of the way.
The challenge
In architecture, the photo is the sales pitch. The challenge was twofold: show high-quality work without the page crawling, and keep an aesthetic so clean that nothing competed with the images. A beautiful but slow portfolio scares off exactly the client who cares about detail.
What we did
We designed and built the full portfolio, with the gallery as the centerpiece.
- A project gallery with a per-project view and entries covering context and materials.
- A design philosophy section that explains the studio’s approach.
- Minimalist typography and grid, with plenty of white space.
- High-resolution images optimized with no visible loss of quality.
- A direct contact form from every project.
- Navigation pared back to the minimum so nothing distracts from the work.
How we built it
A static site served from a CDN. The gallery uses modern image formats with responsive sizes and lazy loading, so heavy photos don’t block the first view and the gallery opens in under a second. We protected LCP by prioritizing the first visible image. AA accessibility with descriptive alt text on every project, which also helps SEO. Structured data and per-project metadata so each piece of work is indexable on its own.
Results
With a fast gallery and navigation out of the way, visitors browse more projects and spend longer looking. That longer browsing turned into more project inquiries through the forms. Loading under a second sustains the polished-studio feeling the client was after.
